Returns and Exchanges Policy

Exchanges Policy:

We are pleased to offer exchanges on our unique products. Please understand that due to the uniqueness of each rug, exchanges can only be made for different products, not the same one.


Returns Policy:

Your satisfaction is important to us. If, for any reason, you wish to return your purchase, please contact us within 5 days of receiving your product to initiate the return process. The item must be returned in its original condition within 14 days of receipt. Please be aware that the refund amount will be reduced by the initial shipping charges, which are, on average, around £20 to £70 depending on the size of the item within the UK (Outside of the UK, it will be more expensive). Standard Return Conditions:

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from The Persian Rug Store. If you decide to return an item, please notify us within 5 days of delivery to start the return process, and ensure the item is sent back to us within 14 days of delivery.

 

Key Conditions for Returns:

  • Returned items must be in the same condition as when delivered. Any damages or alterations may affect the refund amount. We understand the character of handmade rugs, including wear and tear, and take this into consideration when processing returns.
  • For purchases made in Europe at full price, the return window is 14 days from delivery, with a notification period of 5 days from the delivery date. This policy does not override your statutory rights.
  • International returns must also be communicated within 5 days of receipt. We recognise shipping may take longer, but adherence to the 5-day notification policy is crucial for maintaining item condition.


All refunds will exclude shipping costs.

For a hassle-free return, we can organise a courier pickup for you. Email us at info@thepersianrugstore.com with the package details and preferred pickup date. We'll provide a return label for your package. Ensure the rug is well-packed to avoid damage, preferably in the original packaging or securely wrapped in an alternative.

If you prefer to arrange your own shipping, ensure it's through a secure, traceable service like Royal Mail Signed For or DHL, and keep your postage proof. We are not liable for lost returns.


Refund Processing:

Refunds are securely processed through World Pay. Once we issue a refund, Airwallex immediately forwards it to your bank.
